FREEWHEELER VACATIONS --- RENTAL POLICIES
After we have located the perfect Vacation Home
for your family:
Rental Agreements will be faxed or mailed when
the requested dates are approved. Within 7 days, a 50% deposit
is to be returned with the signed Rental Agreement and Rental
Application.
All rentals are subject to 12.5% sales and bed
tax, a cleaning fee (which varies with the size of the property)
and a non-refundable $100.00 processing fee.
A full refund, less the application fee, will
be returned if the reservation is cancelled 60 days prior to check-in.
After the 60 day period, a refund will only be made if the property
is rebooked for the same period of time for the same rent.
Check in time is 3 PM and check out is 10 AM.
Paperwork may be completed on your check in day prior to 3 PM
but property may not be occupied until 3 PM. On check out, keys
are to be left at our office.
All paperwork must be complete and signed prior
to check-in and the rental application must correctly identify
the persons, boats, trailers and cars occupying the property.
Check-in funds may be cash, certified check,
credit card (visa, master charge or discover). Personal or company
checks will only be accepted if received prior to arrival with
enough time to clear.
Our business hours are Monday through Friday
9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 9AM to 2 PM. Please call ahead for after
hours check-in procedures.
Freewheeler makes every effort to insure each
property is in good rental condition. Please remember that Islamorada
is a small island community and after hours repair is very difficult.
Freewheeler maintains an after hours emergency contact number
but most repairs are only possible during working hours.
All properties are “self catering”.
Kitchens are fully supplied but food and other necessities such
as spices, dish soap, paper towels and cleaning supplies are not
guaranteed to be in the properties.
In the event of a mandatory hurricane evacuation,
refunds will be given for the time lost.
Rental rates are subject to change during holidays,
Lobster season, and off-season. Availability status of properties
is also subject to change. In the event of a change in the property
you have reserved, Freewheeler will make every effort to find
a suitable substitution or will refund your deposit in full.
DAMAGE INSURANCE
This Security Deposit Protection plan covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. The policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3000. Any damages that exceed $3000 will be charged to the credit card on file. If, during your stay at one of our Rental Properties, an Insured Person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the Insurer will reimburse the Insured for the cost of repair or replacement of such property up to a maximum benefit of $3000. Certain terms and conditions apply. Full details of the Security Deposit Protection coverage are contained in the Certificate of Insurance or Insurance Policy. The Security Deposit Protection can be purchased up to, and including at, check-in. By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services to pay directly Freewheeler Vacations, Inc. any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Security Deposit Protection.
